During your visit, you will have the fenced in area to yourself.

Neighbors have dogs but they are rarely seen (you may hear barking) and cannot enter the property.  

The area is fully fenced with 4 foot farm fencing.  

A central cleared path leads from the front of the property to the wooded section in the back. 

Side areas are lightly wooded for shade. 

Agility equipment is placed in a shaded area. 

The back of the property is wooded with cleared walking paths.

Our long-term goal is to provide a swimming pool, pet memorial area, and training fields.

No breed restrictions. 

No requirements for males to be neutered. 

Females in season are not permitted. 

No prohibitions on types of collars or harnesses. 

Reserved in one-hour increments. 

Two hours may be booked back-to-back as the schedule permits. 

Hours of operation are 8 AM until dusk, seven days a week. 

Satchel's Place may periodically close for private events or invite members to group events.

It is recommended (per Florida state law)

that all dogs be vaccinated for rabies due to the rural environment. Owners should consider other veterinarian recommended immunizations. Owners choosing not to immunize assume all responsibility for any wildlife encounters (raccoons, possums, etc). 

Due to the nature of the property 

(wooded, mulched trails, open meadows), 

we encourage members to be aware of the possibility of

fleas and ticks trying to hitch a ride on your pup. 

Please be advised, the area is in a natural, forest setting. 

Parking areas and paths are not paved and may be muddy during the rainy season or have leaves, tree branches, rocks, or roots in the paths. Trails are not groomed but are roughly wooded areas.  The use or possession of alcohol. marijuana, or controlled substances on the property is forbidden.
